As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Midland Bank Limited (MDB) provided financial assistance BDT 0.50 Lac (Taka fifty thousand) to Chand Tara Jame Mosque.

Mr. M Moniruzzaman Khandaker, Honourable Chairman of the Bank handed over the Cheque along with Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO, Mashiul Huq Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director and Khondoker Nayeemul Kabir, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank to Mr. Mr. Belal Hossan Sarker, Member of the Mosque Management Committee at a simple ceremony held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Bank’s Head Office in Gulshan, Dhaka.

Chand Tara Jame Mosque, an eye catching Mosque built in 2000 is located at Babutipara, Muradnagar in Comilla District. Currently 350 students of the locality are learning the holy Al-Quran in the Mosque. MDB provided financial assistance to the Mosque for its construction and renovation under Corporate Social Responsibility Programme of the Bank.

Mr. Shamsul Azam Khan, Head of Credit of Midland Bank Ltd were also present on the occasion among other members of both the organizations.
