Bangladesh Bank recently arranged School Banking Fair 2018. Under the initiative of 57 commercial Banks, around 600 students participated from 60 schools from Dhaka District in a daylong conference held at the playground of Dhaka Residential Model School & College, Mohammadpur, Dhaka on 12 May 2018. Mr. Abu Hena Md. Razi Hasan, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank inaugurated the conference as Chief Guest. Midland Bank Limited also participated in the conference. Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO of Midland Bank was present with the students of Junior Laboratory School of Dhanmondi at the conference. The conference was arranged to create awareness on savings mentality among the students.

High Officials of Bangladesh Bank, Managing Directors of several Commercial Banks were also present at the conference which was initiated by the Financial Inclusion Division of Bangladesh Bank.
