MIDLAND BANK ORGANISED A TRAINING PROGRAM ON “FINANCING FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROGRAMS” CONDUCTED BY USAID, BANGLADESH

Midland Bank Limited organized a training program titled “Financing for Energy Efficiency Programs” for its officials at the Bank’s Head Office, Dhaka on the 28th of February, 2015 conducted by USAID, Bangladesh. Mr. Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank inaugurated the program as Chief Guest along with Mr. A.K.D. Sher Mohammad Khan, Senior Energy Advisor, USAID Bangladesh and Mr. Craig VanDevelde, Chief of Party, Catalyzing Clean Energy in Bangladesh. CCEB is a USAID-funded project, implemented by Deloitte Consulting LLP. Mr. Khondoker Nayeemul Kabir, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank attended the concluding session of the training Program. Head of Branches, Executives and officers from the Branches and Head Office of the Bank along with Mohammad Iqbal, Head of Emerging Corporate & Special Programmes and Head of Green Banking of the Bank, participated in the training. Different topics were presented in the training like Energy Efficiency Program in Industries, Energy Audit, Energy Efficiency Financing, etc.
