As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in education, Midland Bank Limited (MDB) donated BDT 5.00 Lac (Taka Five Lac) only to Kalagachia M A High School, located at Homna of Comilla District to renovate academic buildings of the school.

Mr. M Moniruzzaman Khandaker, Chairman along with Mrs. Ferdaous Ara, Director of the Bank handed over the Cheque to Mir Md. Masuduzzaman, President of School Managing Committee, at a simple ceremony held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Bank’s Head Office in Gulshan. Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank was also present.

Kalagachia M A High School is located at Homna upozala of Comilla District. The School was established in the year of 1965, with 1200 full time students. MDB provided financial assistance to renovate academic building of the school, in keeping with the Bank’s commitment towards improving education facility of the country under Corporate Social Responsibility Programme of the Bank.

Muhammad H Kafi, Chief Information Officer of Midland Bank was also present on the occasion among other members of both organizations.
