A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Midland Bank Limited (MDB) and Guardian Life Insurance Limited (GLIL) at the Board Room of the Bank at Gulshan, Dhaka on 28th August 2019.
Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO of Midland Bank Limited and M M Monirul Alam, Managing Director & CEO of Guardian Life Insurance Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations in presence of Mr. David James Howard Griffiths, Director of GLIL and others high officials of the both the organizations.
Through this MoU, GLIL will be providing insurance coverage on MDB’s Personal Loan, Unsecured SME Term Loan and Monthly Savings Scheme deposit products.
Mr. Mohammad Masoom, Additional Managing Director, Mr. Md. Ridwanul Hoque, EVP & Head of Retail Distributions, Mr. Faisal Ahmed, VP & Head of Branch SME and Retail Business of Midland Bank Limited and Mohammad Shazzadul Karim, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Micro Insurance, Mr. Ahmed Istiaque Mahmud, Executive Vice President & Head of Bancassurance and Mr. Mashfiqur Rahman, Vice President, Bancassurance were also present at the signing ceremony along with other officials of both organizations
