An agreement signing ceremony between Midland Bank Limited (MDB) and Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (REB) was held on 16th October 2017 at the Head Office of the REB at Nikunju-2, Khilkhat, Dhaka.

Under the agreement, Midland Bank will now collect bills from REB customers through Midland Bank Agent Banking.

Mr. Md. Ridwanul Hoque, SVP & Head of Retail Distribution of MDB and Mr. Hossain Patoari, Director (Finance), FMT Cell of REB signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations in presence of Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO of Midland Bank.

Mr. Masihul Huq Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director, Mr. Nazmul Huda Sarkar, SVP & CTO, Md. Mahabubur Rahman, SAVP of Midland Bank were also present on the occasion along with other officials of both the organizations.
