An agreement signing ceremony was held between Midland Bank Limited (MDB) and Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) at the Head Office of DPDC, Dhaka.

Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO, MDB and, Md. Munir Chowdhury, Company Secretary, DPDC signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Under the agreement, Midland Bank will now collect bills from DPDC customers through its branches.
Brig Gen. Mr. Nazrul Hasan (Retd), Managing Director of DPDC and Muhammad H. Kafi, Chief Information Officer of MDB were also present on the occasion along with other high officials of both the organizations.
