Midland Bank Limited (MDB) signed a MoU with Xtra, country’s first personalized digital gifting ecosystem and reward platform. 

In the presence of Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO, Midland Bank Limited, Mr. Monjurul Alam Mamun, Founder and Chief Executice of Xtra and Mr. Nazmul Huda Sakrer, CTO and Head of IT of MDB, Mr. Md. Ridwanul Hoque, Head of Retail Distribution of MDB and SM Rifat Shariar, Manager, Sales & Marketing of Xtra signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations in a simple ceremony held on January 24, 2021 at the Board Room of Bank’s Head Office at Gulshan 2, Dhaka.

As a result of this MoU, using Xtra’s gift API, the customers of Midland Bank can send gift voucher using a code to their loved ones through MDB Mobile App-‘midland online’, which code can be encashed at renowned 50+ Xtra’s online & offline merchants through collecting any choiceable items of the same value. Moreover, through midland online, the credit cardholders of the bank can redeem their rewards points by purchasing gift cards from 50+ Xtra’s online and offline merchants.
