A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Midland Bank Limited (MDB) and Prime Islami Life Insurance Limited (PLIL) at the Board Room of the Bank at Gulshan, Dhaka on 23rd September 2019.

Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO of Midland Bank Limited and Md. Apel Mahmud, CEO of Prime Islami Life Insurance Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Through this MoU, PLIL will be providing insurance coverage on MDB Amar Bari, a Retail Loan Product of the Bank along with MDB Visa Gold Credit Card.

Ridwanul Hoque, EVP & Head of Retail Distributions, Faisal Ahmed, VP & Head of Branch SME and Retail Business of Midland Bank Limited and Nizam Uddin Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director, Company Secretary & CFO, Md. Shahidur Rahman, Joint Executive Vice President, In-Charge Actuarial & Group Ins. Dept. and Md. Shah Alam Kiron, Joint Executive Vice President, Planning, Recruitment & Training, Group Ins. Dept. of Prime Islami Life Insurance were also present at the signing ceremony along with other officials of both organizations.
