One of the leading fourth generation private commercial banks – Midland Bank Limited launched Bangla QR Payment service in their ‘Midland Online’ App with the partnership of the largest payment service aggregator SSLCOMMERZ on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021 at the premises of the Bank’s Head Office.

Through this launching, the customers of Midland Bank Limited will be able to scan and pay to all of the retail shops and businesses which SSLCOMMERZ has enabled for Bangla QR. Bangla QR is a new form of payment technology that is contactless and cashless, developed by SSLCOMMERZ under the guidelines of Bangladesh Bank’s National QR Code Standard for Retail Payments specifications.

Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury, Group Advisor of SSLCOMMERZ and Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO of Midland Bank Limited were present among many other top officials from both organizations who joined the program.
