Midland Bank Limited (MDB) inked “Participation Agreement” with the Bangladesh Bank under a refinance scheme namely Green Transformation Fund (GTF) worth BDT 5,000 crore for acceleration of green practices and sustainable growth in export-oriented and manufacturing industries.
On March 16th 2023, a participation agreement signing ceremony held at the Jahangir Alam conference hall of Bangladesh Bank.
The Honourable Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Mr. Abdur Rouf Talukder and the Managing Director & CEO of Midland Bank Limited, Mr. Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman exchanged the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Kazi Saidur Rahman, Executive Director Md. Khurshid Alam, Chowdhury Liakat Ali, Director, Sustainable Finance Department and other officials of the concerned department were present at the event.
