Midland Bank PLC. (MDB) signed an agreement with Smart Electronics Limited on August 9, 2026, to offer an exclusive 0% interest EMI facility to MDB Credit Cardholders. The agreement signing ceremony was held at the Head Office of Smart Electronics Limited.

The agreement was signed on behalf of their respective organizations by Md. Abed-Ur-Rahman, Head of Cards, Midland Bank PLC., and Md. Tanvir Hossain, Director, Smart Electronics Limited.

Under this partnership, MDB Credit Cardholders will enjoy up to 18 months EMI facility at 0% interest on purchases from Smart Electronics Limited.

The agreement aims to provide greater convenience and flexible payment options to MDB Credit Cardholders while enhancing the value-added benefits offered by Midland Bank PLC.

Among others, Sazal Ahmed, Senior Executive Officer, attended the signing ceremony on behalf of Midland Bank PLC. Representing Smart Electronics Limited was Md. Qawsar Bhuiyan, Deputy Manager, along with other officials from both organizations.
