Midland Bank Limited (MDB) has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UPAY, a leading Mobile Financial Service provider in Bangladesh.
Mr. Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, MD & CEO of Midland Bank Limited and Mr. Rezaul Hossain, MD & CEO of UPAY signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations, through a simple ceremony held on 31st August, 2022 at the Board Room of the Bank’s Head Office, at Gulshan 2, Dhaka.
Under this MoU, Midland Bank customers can get instant fund transfer facility from their MDB account to UPAY through midland online (Mobile App). In future, fund transfer facility from UPAY to MDB Account and remittance transfer service will also be available under this agreement.

Abed-Ur-Rahman, Head of Cards of Midland Bank and Syed Md Enamul Kabir Chief Financial Officer, Emon Kalyan Dutta Chief Sales & Service Officer, Ziaur Rahman Chief Strategy Officer and Md Abu Shahed Shams Azad Deputy Director, Strategy & Product of UPAY were also present on the occasion along with the officials of both organizations.
