Midland Bank Limited (MDB) signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank to disburse CMSME term loans up to 5 years at 7% interest under the CMSME refinancing scheme of the Central Bank.

The signing ceremony was held on 24th August 2022 at Jahangir Alam Conference Hall of Bangladesh Bank, Head Office, Dhaka.

Managing Director and CEO of MDB Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman and Director of Bangladesh Bank Zaker Hossain signed the agreement on behalf of their organization.

Bangladesh Bank Governor Abdur Rauf Talukdar, Bangladesh Bank Deputy Governor Abu Farah Md. Nasser, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank Obaidul Haque, Director of Bangladesh Bank Manoj Kumar Howladar and VP and Head of SME of MDB Md. Ahsan Jamil Hossain were also present on the occasion.
