MIDLAND BANK PLC. HOLDS WORKSHOP ON LEADERSHIP EXCELLENCE & CRISIS MANAGEMENT

Midland Bank PLC. organized a “Workshop on Leadership Excellence & Crisis Management” on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the MDB Training Institute. The workshop was arranged with the objective of enhancing leadership capabilities, strengthening operational efficiency, and equipping branch managers with effective strategies to handle dynamic business and crisis situations.

The program was attended by Imtiaz U Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO; Md. Zahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director & CRO; and Md. Nazmul Huda Sarkar, Deputy Managing Director & CTO, along with members of the Senior Management Team (SMT), few Divisional Heads, and Branch Managers of the Bank.

The training session was conducted by Dr. Mohammad Tazul Islam, Professor in Management at the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) and Director (Training), BIBM. He shared valuable insights on leadership development, strategic management, operational excellence, and crisis management, providing practical guidance to participants for addressing real-life business challenges.

The workshop featured structured sessions, interactive learning, and experience-sharing, allowing participants to gain deeper understanding of leadership practices and effective decision-making approaches in the banking environment.
