Midland Bank PLC. held its 187th Meeting of the Board of Directors on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at the Bank’s Head Office Board Room in Dhaka.
The meeting was presided over by Mr. Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Chairman of the Board. Mr. Md. Shamsuzzaman, Vice Chairman; Mr. Rezaul Karim, Chairman of the Executive Committee (EC); Master Abul Kashem, Director; Mr. Hafizur Rahman Sarker, Director; Dr. Mostafizur Rahman, Director; Mrs. Shahnaj Parveen, Director; Mr. Mohammed Jamal Ullah, Director; Alhaj Mohammed Helal Miah, Director; Mr. Md. Kamal Hossain, Director; and Mr. Abdul Alim Mondol, Director, attended the meeting.
Mr. Imtiaz U. Ahmed, Managing Director of Midland Bank PLC., was also present. During the meeting, the Board reviewed and approved various agenda items, including investment proposals and important policy matters. The Board also discussed the Bank’s overall business performance, strategic initiatives and future growth plans, providing necessary guidance to strengthen corporate governance, operational efficiency and sustainable business growth.
