Midland Bank Limited (MDB) formally inaugurated an Agent Banking Centre at Shabchar Bazar of Shibchar Thana, Madaripur on 19th March, 2019 to take modern Banking services to the unbanked masses. Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank formally inaugurated the Centre as Chief Guest along with Mr. Md. Waliul Haque, Proprietor of M/s. Wali Enterprise and local elites. Earlier the Bank appointed M/s. Wali Enterprise, a local business house as an Agent for rendering banking services in the area.
Clients, businessmen, local elites, Mr. Md. Ridwanul Haque, Head of Retail Distribution, Abul Kalam, Head of Panchar Br, Mr. Arifuzzaman, Head of Maligram Br. of Midland Bank were also present on the occasion along with other officials of the Bank. During the ceremony, Munajat seeking divine blessings of Almighty Allah, for the welfare, progress and prosperity of the Bank’s Agent Banking Centre and the Country as well, was held.
