A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Midland Bank Limited (MDB) and Omera Renewable Energy Ltd (a concern of East Coast Group) under “Refinance Scheme for Green Products/Projects/Initiatives” of Bangladesh Bank in the Head Office of the Bank at Gulshan 2, Dhaka on 16.11.2022.

In presence of Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO of Midland Bank, Mohammad Javed Tarek Khan, Head of Institutional Banking Division and Masudur Rahim, Chief Executive Officer of East Coast Group, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. Under the MoU, Omera Renewable Energy Ltd will enjoy the credit line from Midland Bank under the Refinance Scheme for Green Products/Projects/Initiatives of Bangladesh Bank.

Md. Zahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director, Khondkar Towfique Hossain, Executive Vice President and Head of International Division, Tariquzzaman, Sr. Vice President & Head of Unit-1 of Institutional Banking Division and Khondker Khaled Shams, Assistant Vice President & Relationship Manager of Institutional Banking Division, Unit-1 of Midland Bank and Md. AKH Hasif Sowdagar, Chief Financial Officer of East Coast Group were also present along with other officials of both the organizations.
