How do I use LoungeKey™

LoungeKey™ Membership Enrollment & Access Instructions

  • Submit your LoungeKey™ membership enrollment request through the Midland Bank Contact Center (16596) or via email at contact.centre@midlandbankbd.net, after obtaining Travel Quota endorsement against your Midland VISA Credit or Prepaid Card.
  • LoungeKey™ membership activation requires five (5) to eleven (11) calendar days from the date of request submission.
  • Once your membership is activated, you may complete the following optional steps to create your Digital Card.
  • For airport lounge access, you must present yourself as a LoungeKey™ member. Show your eligible Midland VISA Credit or Prepaid Card, or your LoungeKey™ Digital Card, along with your same day boarding pass & passport to gain entry. Your card will be swiped or scanned to register your visit.
  • Your Digital Card or eligible Midland VISA Card will be swiped or scanned to complete the lounge entry registration.

Terms & Condition

LoungeKey™ Access Guidelines for Midland Bank Visa Cardholders

  • Cardholders must identify themselves as Midland Bank Visa LoungeKey™ members at the lounge entrance.
  • Present your eligible Midland Visa Card or the Digital Card from the LoungeKey™ App, and mention "LoungeKey™" member at the airport lounge to gain access.
  • Midland Visa Platinum and Gold Primary Credit Cardholders are entitled to two complimentary visits per year.
  • Additional visits or accompanying guests will be charged USD 35.00 per person per visit.
  • MDB Prepaid Cardholders are not eligible for complimentary visits. However, they may access lounge facilities by paying a processing fee of USD 2.50 (as per SOC) for airport lounge access, if activated and a lounge access fee of USD 35.00 per person per visit.
  • A non-settled USD 1.00 authorization will be applied during registration (via app or website), with no impact on the cardholder's statement.
  • An authorization of USD 3.25 will be taken for eligibility verification during each international lounge visit. This amount will not be billed to the customer.
  • TQ Endorsement/FC/RFCD Limit is mandatory.
  • LoungeKey™ membership activation takes five (5) to eleven (11) calendar days.

Example: The LoungeKey™ Cardholder Enrollment Process is conducted weekly:

      -If a cardholder submits their enrollment request by Sunday (e.g., 14/09/2025), the process will be completed by the following Thursday (e.g., 18/09/2025).Access to participating lounges begins Friday (e.g., 19/09/2025).
      -If the request is submitted between Monday and the next Sunday (e.g., 15/09/2025 to 21/09/2025), enrollment will be completed by Thursday (e.g., 25/09/2025), and access begins Friday (e.g., 26/09/2025).
  • Complimentary refreshments are provided at the lounge operator's discretion and may vary.
  • Wi-Fi and conference facilities are subject to availability and the lounge operator's discretion.
  • Signing up on the LoungeKey™ website or app is optional for eligible Midland Bank Visa Cardholders. To register, cardholders must:
      • -Use an eligible Midland Bank Visa Card
      -Have Travel Quota endorsement
      -Enable international online transactions Registration provides access to useful lounge information
