As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme, Midland Bank Limited (MDB) donated BDT 15000 pcs of blankets to the “Prime Minister’s Relief Fund” for cold stricken poor people of the country.

Mr. Rezaul Karim, Director and Chairman, Executive Committee and Mr. Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Directors and Chairman, Risk Management Committee of Midland Bank, presented a token blanket to honourable Prime Minister of Peoples Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina, M.P. at a programme held on November 10, 2023 in the Prime Minister’s Office, initiated by Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB). Earlier, the Bank, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme, donated BDT 1.00 Crore to the “Ashrayan Project-2,” to provide housing for landless and homeless families of the country. And also donated financial assistance to the Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust. Besides, the Bank operated multiple other CSR activities throughout the year in 2023 for the betterment of the society.
