As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Midland Bank Limited (MDB) on Monday, January 06, 2020 donated BDT 1.00 crore (one crore) to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Trust. Chairperson of the Trust Honourable Prime Minister of People’s Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina received the cheque at her official residence Ganobhaban this evening. The Bank has contributed this money to the Trust for celebrating 100th birthday of  Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, which has also been running different philanthropic activities to uphold the spirit of the great War of Liberation.

Mr. Rezaul Karim, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Mr. Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee of the Board of Directors of the Bank handed over the cheque to the Honourable Prime Minister Sheikh while Finance Minister Mr. AHM Mustafa Kamal, was also present on the ceremony.
