Midland Bank Limited (MDB) distributed bicycles among the under privileged female school going students of different schools of the upazilas of Rajshahi district, under “SHAPNO JATRA”, a special programme of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The female students have to walk miles from their home to reach their educational institution.
Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO of Midland Bank along with Mrs. Shahin Akter Reni, Senior Vice president, Rajshahi Mohanagar Awami league, Mrs. Amina Abedin, Head of English Department, Rajshahi New Govt. Degree College and Mrs. Shikha Sarkar, Head of Bangla department, Rajshahi Govt College, present during the ceremony held on 01st February 2020 at Rajshahi Branch, Rajshahi. Guardians and Teachers of the respective educational institutions were also present on the occasion.
Mr. Nakul Chandra Debnath, Head of General Service Division, Md Samiul Karim, Head of Rajshahi Branch were also present along with other officials of the Bank during the distribution ceremony.
