Sanjida Kasem is the first lady Chartered Accountant in practice in Bangladesh and a Fellow member of both ICAB and ICMAB, having qualified in 1991. She served a secondment with C&L, Singapore in 1992-93 and has been a partner of AQC since 1995. She was also a Partner of EY Global from July, 2017 to February, 2021.

Sanjida is a fully accredited Member of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), USA, and an ISO 9000 Certificated Lead Auditor. Sanjida has led many major audits, special reviews, procurement audits and financial review assignments with multinational companies, international donor agencies, and listed companies. As Engagement Partner, her portfolio includes GrameenPhone Bangladesh Ltd., British American Tobacco Bangladesh Ltd., Camellia Plc, Nestle Bangladesh Ltd., GlaxoSmithKline Bangladesh Ltd., Nokia Siemens Ltd., Singer Bangladesh Ltd., Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd. etc. to name a few. She has also led various assignments with World Bank, USAID, ADB and other donor agencies.

Sanjida Kasem has been the Vice-President and Councillor of ICMAB in 2007 and member of various Committees at ICAB. She actively leads and engages in various professional and development training programs at the national and international level.
