Midland Bank PLC. (MDB) has been awarded ISO 27001:2022 certificate by Bureau Veritas for its compliance with the standards of ISO 27001:2022. This is an international standard that specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing and maintaining Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Md. Zahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director & CRO of MDB, received the certificate from Md. Altaf Hossain, Global Sales Specialist, and Sabuj Golder, Senior Executive Officer — both representing CEO of EIC, Md. Moshiul Islam — in the presence of the Senior Management Team (SMT) of the Bank at the head office on Monday, May 20,2026.

Didarul Islam, CFO, Omar Sharif, Head of ITD, Md. Zubayed Ur Rahman, Head of HRD, Mohammed Rashadul Anwar, Head of RDD, Mohammad Hedayet Hossain, Head of ISS, Md. Asraful Alam, Head of Legal, of MDB along with other officials of MDB & EIC were present at the certificate handover ceremony.
