The 179th Meeting of the Board of Directors of Midland Bank PLC. was held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the Bank’s Head Office Board Room in Dhaka.

The meeting was presided over by Mr. Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Chairman of the Board. Mr. Md. Shamsuzzaman, Vice Chairman; Mr. Rezaul Karim, Chairman of the Executive Committee (EC); Master Abul Kashem, Director; Dr. Mostafizur Rahman, Director; Mr. A.K.M. Badiul Alam, Director; Mr. Mohammed Jamal Ullah, Director and Mr. Riaz Ahmed Choudhury, Independent Director were present in the meeting.

Mr. Imtiaz U. Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO, and Mr. Md. Zahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director, also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the Board reviewed and approved various agenda items, including investment proposals and important policy matters of the Bank. The Board also discussed the Bank’s overall business performance, strategic initiatives, and future growth plans, providing necessary guidance for the continued development and sustainable progress of Midland Bank PLC.
