Midland Bank PLC. has signed an agreement with Shamadhan Services Limited, an emerging digital financial service provider, to facilitate seamless money transfers between Shamadhan accounts and Midland Bank accounts.

The agreement signing ceremony was held at the Bank’s Head Office in Gulshan-2, Dhaka, on October 9, 2025. Mr. Md. Zahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director of Midland Bank PLC., and Mr. Mohammad Anwar Hossain, Chief Operating Officer of Shamadhan Services Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Mr. Maruf Haider, Executive Vice President of Midland Bank and Mr. Mohammad Anwar Hossain, Chief Operating Officer of Shamadhan Services Limited exchanged the document after the signing of the agreement.

Through this partnership, customers of both institutions will be able to transfer funds in real time between Shamadhan mobile wallet and Midland Bank account, ensuring greater flexibility, speed, and accessibility. Mr. Nazmul Huda Sarkar, Chief Technology Officer; Mr. Maruf Haider, Executive Vice President; and Mr. Ashrafur Rahman, Relationship Manager of Midland Bank PLC.; along with Mr. Md. Salah Uddin Tanvir, Head of Product & Pricing, and Mr. A.B.M. Saiful Bari, Head of Business & Strategy of Shamadhan Services Limited, were also present at the event, along with other senior officials from both organizations.
