The 8^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the shareholders of Midland Bank Limited (MDB) was held through digital platform on 30^th September 2021. Mrs. Nilufer Zafarullah, Honourable Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Bank presided over the meeting. Vice Chairman Md. Shamsuzzaman, Directors including Independent Directors, Sponsors and Shareholders of the Bank were present in the meeting. Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO and Md. Zahid Hossain, DMD of the Bank were also present. In the AGM, the Shareholders of the Bank approved 7.50% cash dividend for the year 2020 on the Paid-up Capital of Tk 570 crore and adopted other decisions, while noting that the Bank’s total Shareholders’ Equity was Tk 761.00 crore, as of 31.12.2020.  The Directors’ Report, Audited Financial Statements of the Bank for the year ended on 31^st December, 2020 were also placed and adopted in the meeting along with other agenda items.
