The 1^st Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the shareholders of Midland Bank Limited (MDB) was held through digital platform on October 29, 2023. Mrs. Nilufer Zafarullah, Honourable Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Bank, presided over the meeting. A number of general and institutional Shareholders of the Bank attended the EGM using the digital EGM platform. Directors, including Independent Directors, Sponsors, Auditors and Independent Scrutinizer were also presented in the main digital EGM platform. Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director and CEO; Md. Zahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director; Mr. Zahirul Islam, FCA, Chief Financial Officer (CFO); and Khalid Mohammad Sharif, FCS, Company Secretary of the Bank were also present in the EGM.
