The 11^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Midland Bank PLC. (MDB) was held on 13^th June 2024 through Hybrid System in combination with physical presence of shareholders at the Banquet Hall of Kurmitola Golf Club, Dhaka. Honourable Chairperson of the Bank, Mrs. Nilufer Zafarullah presided over the meeting. A large number of general and institutional Shareholders also attended the AGM physically and using digital AGM platform. Directors including Independent Directors, Sponsors, Auditors and Independent Scrutinizer participated in the AGM. Mr. Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director & CEO, Md. Zahid Hossain, DMD, Mr. Khalid Mohammad Sharif FCS, Company Secretary and Mr. Zahirul Islam FCA, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Bank were also present in the meeting. In the AGM, the Shareholders approved 5% cash dividend for the year 2023.
